Linda Narbeth – Managing Director

South Wales Female Entrepreneur of the Year 2012

Linda established her company in 1994 having spent 20 years gaining experience in the private sector, which enabled her to become a leading business & personal development trainer and manager. Over the last decade Linda has developed the company, which has grown to become a major player within the training and personal development arena in Wales. Linda has a tremendous ability to instinctively recognise potential within people. The development of that potential is key to her success and the foundation on which her reputation is built. Her approach to business is inspirational, she encourages her team to use all of their skills with confidence and subsequently this attitude is naturally reflected in the company’s approach to its customers.

Cherryblue offers professional development and consultancy services that enable people to develop their skills and transfer them seamlessly into the workplace. Linda’s experience has given her the opportunity to excel as a trainer, management coach, facilitator, business advisor and consultant. Working in both the public and private sectors, Linda’s specialist areas are management and leadership, trainers development, personal development and identifying and implementing processes for managing change. In recognition of Linda’s hard work and subsequent success throughout her career Linda has received the following Awards:

  • In 2012 Linda achieved the ILM Level 7 award in Executive Management and Strategic Leadership – a qualification that promotes effective decision making, change management and quality assurance within the business.
  • 2004 proudly achieved the ‘Investors In People’ Award.
  • In 2003 Linda’s company,  won an award as one of the ‘Top Ten Best Managed Workplaces in Wales’
  • A finalist in the 1995 ‘Welsh Woman of the Year Awards’ and in 1996 won the ‘Effective Returner’ category at the Awards.


Michelle Dobbin – Operations Manager

After spending a period of time managing the IT training operation at a large NHS trust, Michelle successfully operated her own IT training and consultancy business before joining Cherryblue in 2000. This followed a number of years where Michelle had worked closely with Managing Director, Linda Narbeth, both in the fields of IT training and office management. Michelle is a central figure in the Cherryblue’s management team and her main focus is the successful day-to-day running of the Cherryblue office, which includes HR functions, customer liaison and managing our ECDL operations. As well as her ability to oversee all the operational functions of the business, Michelle has an exhaustive knowledge of the training industry and this is evident in her ability to support the rest of the management team in its main role of client service.


Paul Tunster – Head of ICT Development

Paul is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Cherryblue’s largest clients. Paul spent 10 years in a quality control management position with a large manufacturing company before embarking on a career in the Information Technology arena. Following a period in which he ran his own IT training consultancy. Paul joined Cherryblue in 1999 and has progressed through various roles from training, customer service and project management to his current position. Paul’s experience of looking objectively at a clients needs is invaluable in determining a definitive and appropriate approach to any training required. Paul’s background as an IT Trainer and Project Manager has given him considerable experience in dealing with IT projects of all sizes – from advising clients on a suitable one-day course to project managing training to thousands of staff.

In 2012 Paul achieved the ILM Level 7 award in Executive Management and Strategic Leadership – a qualification that promotes effective decision making, change management and quality assurance within the business.


Alex Pepper – ICT Training Coordinator

Alex began working for the Welsh Assembly Government in 2005 and had collaborated with Cherryblue on several ICT training projects before joining the company in 2007 as ICT Training Coordinator. Alex liaises with staff and learning development advisors to coordinate the delivery of training courses across Wales and to tackle individual customer queries. Finding practical solutions for training enquiries is a challenge which never ceases to generate new ideas and approaches. Alex’s relationship with both the customer and their technical support has allowed him to proactively document changes in the ICT system and continually promote best practice amongst staff.

In 2012 Alex achieved the ILM Level 3 award in Leadership and Management which is designed to introduce the core business skills today’s managers require to become more effective at managing both themselves and their team.
